Program Launch!

Posted: July 26, 2015 in General/Notes

Hey everyone!

So, yesterday, July 25, marked the official launch of the Compass Initiative Sabbath School Program. Thank you to all who attended and gave me feedback.

For those of you who are coming this next Sabbath, don’t forget that we have a memory verse challenge going with this program, too. If you can memorize the verse for last Sabbath as well as this upcoming Sabbath, even better!

For those of you who were in class yesterday, please feel free to leave comments below this post about your opinions on this first lesson: what you liked, what you didn’t like, what you would like to see implemented. I am building this program for you, after all. 🙂

I’ll be posting updates as I go this week, so keep an eye out for more information, and I look forward to seeing ya’ll next Sabbath!

I really enjoyed the topic of last week’s lesson. Thinking about the purpose of the Bible created an elaborate discussion, one which made me think a lot more than usual about a book I’ve been reading for my entire life. Something I would like to see is a preview to what we will learn next week, since I haven’t found any verses for next week on this website. I also appreciate the effort you are putting into these lessons and I would also be interested in learning about the artifacts that were found in various sites as seen in the Bible.

Thank you for your time and I hope this helps construct your lessons!

Thank you for your reply, Eddie. I apologize that I’m moving a bit slow on next week’s lesson, but if you want to view the Bible texts for it, those are already up if you want to have a look. It’s all under the Lessons/Quarter 1 tabs. I’ll get the whole thing up as soon as possible.

Artifacts, huh? Now there’s an idea. I’ll see what I can “dig” up. 😉

Anyway, thank you for your help and support, and if you think of anything else, let me know.
